I’m feeling hottah!

January 31st, 2009

I’m just going to share some tips on how to get warm during the winter season, I know it’s still early but it’ll serve as a preparation guide that might come handy.

  • Shut out all the windows in your house and open all your lights or maybe try to use some candles. Lights will emit some heating source that will make you warm.
  • Do wear warm clothes. If you can wear at least two sweaters you may do so and do wear socks to because it will lessen having cold feet that will make you feel cold
  • Crawl into your bed and tuck yourself on a heavy blanket or if you have a heater then turn it and use it
  • Sit by the fireplace and drink or eat anything hot. Hot choco, hot coffee, hot soups.
  • Instead of taking a cold shower, you might want to take a hot bath or a hot shower

I hope this simple tips will help you just like contractor HVAC, being random again.

Techie Talk

January 28th, 2009

I was so surprised to know that the computers today are very affordable. I saw my co-worker with his knew Acer laptop and guess what, he didn’t pay for it that much. In fact he only bought it for Php 30,000 thinking that the laptop uses a Vista OS and the specification is really worth paying for high amount. Buying that laptop is all worth it plus he also received a free bag that comes with the laptop for free.

I so envy him because my laptop is old enough for me to really need a new one and it’s acting up on me at times. Will really ask my mom if I can buy a new one already since the one that I am using is like 5 years old already and I can feel it giving up on me.

Anyway, since I am posting about techie stuff. I would just want you to go and drop by a friend’s blog wherein he post almost everything about them techie stuff.

Love.

January 23rd, 2009

If you love someone, ask them for nothing.

Don’t hold them back from their destiny.

Don’t keep them from going off in search of their own answers.

Don’t ask them for commitment.
You will know commitment is real when it is something given willingly and not as something obligatory.

Don’t ask them for promises.
If you are patient, if you have faith, you will know in your heart when the right time for promises has come.

And when that time arrives,
then you will see that you have both lost nothing by setting each other free,
and have instead gained a richer, fuller life,
a wealth of experiences,
and a stronger certainty of your desires.

But should they not return to you,
then life hasn’t cheated you because no promises were broken.
Your bitterness will not last long,
and you will feel thankful and blessed that at the very least,
this beautiful soul has colored your life,
that knowing them has already made life infinitely more meaningful.

By setting a person free,
you run a risk of them not returning.
But always remember that you found them beautiful precisely because they were free.
People are like sunlight. You can feel their warmth, and their glow,
but you can’t hold them in your hand and keep them with you forever.

People CHOOSE to stay.

But a choice is made more meaningful when it is made despite so many other options.

Love has no restrictions and it is through mistakes that sometimes we see the right answer.

Because if you love someone,
you ask them for nothing
and they will come back to you.

New Carjacking Modus Operandi!

January 20th, 2009

BEWARE: New Carjacking Modus Operandi

This is a blog coming from a friend: Please pass it around and inform your love ones and friends about it.

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received
this email yesterday:

WARNING FROM POLICE THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN:
BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE -
A NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS

Heads up everyone!
Please, keep this circulating… You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse.

When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off . They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this email. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Please keep this going and tell all your friends.
